Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash, never in plain text) when you create an account; shipping address and order details when you place an order; and any message you send us directly (for example, by email).
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address and basic request data, to operate and secure the site.
2. Payment Information
Payment card details are entered directly on our payment processor's (Stripe's) own secure payment page. We never receive, process, or store your full card number, expiration date, or security code on our own servers.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies: to keep you signed in, to remember your shopping cart between visits, and to protect against fraudulent login attempts. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: create and manage your account; process and fulfill orders; communicate with you about your orders, account, or support requests; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations (such as tax recordkeeping).
If you opt in at registration to receive marketing communications, we will use your email address for that purpose until you opt out. We do not send marketing email to anyone who has not opted in.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the site: with our payment processor (Stripe) to process payments; with shipping providers to deliver orders; and with service providers who help us operate the site under obligations to protect your information. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes.
7. Your Choices
You can review and update your account information at any time by signing in. You can opt out of marketing email at any time. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@goussecorp.com; we will respond as required by applicable law.
8. Regional Privacy Notices
Some jurisdictions, including California, grant residents specific privacy rights. As a precaution while our full compliance program is still being built out, we are not currently accepting traffic or orders from California. We intend to expand regional privacy disclosures and rights as the business grows — [state-specific privacy notices to be finalized by counsel].
9. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), one-way hashing of passwords, and access controls limiting which staff can view account or order data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
12. Contact
